Meet the Instructors
Finance and Accounting team members conduct regularly scheduled UCF Financials instructor-led classes for the benefit of UCF Financials users.
Marcia is a University of Central Florida (UCF) graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in English/Technical Writing and has worked with PeopleSoft since 2000. She brings her significant experience in financial programming, documentation, and training to her Finance and Accounting position supporting UCF Financials users.
Marcia teaches “FRP230 Query Tools for UCF Financials.”
Mary Williams is a proud graduate of Strayer University with a Master of Science in Public Accounting and a bachelor’s from Columbia College with a concentration in business administration. She is adept in the use of UCF Financials for the Travel Department and brings additional experience from city and county government in PeopleSoft and processing travel reimbursements.
Mary assists with “FPO233 – Travel Guidelines Workshop.”
Melinda Martin is a proud graduate of the University of Florida where she completed a bachelor’s degree in political science and the University of Central Florida where she earned a master’s degree in instructional technology, eLearning. Her training background began in the Human Resources field in 1999. Her goal is to create engaging and effective learning experiences both online and in the classroom.
Melinda facilitates or assists with “FPO233 Travel Guidelines Workshop,” “FPO234 ePro Requisition Workshop,” and “FPO235 Advanced ePro Requisition Workshop.”
Scott Sedlak has been with Finance & Accounting since 2008 when he started as a student OPS in Vendor Payables. He moved to the PCard Department in 2012 where he gained the experience and knowledge necessary to be promoted to senior accountant over PCard in 2016. With a friendly attitude he shares his expertise and broad range of experience assisting departments and individuals daily. Scott hopes to expand your knowledge so that you can develop an efficient method for your department to make purchases.
