This Web page traces the history of the Oracle PeopleSoft Financials Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system implemented by UCF. Also included is a history of the websites developed to support the original implementation project and to provide ongoing end user support.

Project LIFTOFF (Leading Initiative For Transition Off Florida FLAIR)
Project LIFTOFF (Leading Initiative For Transition Off Florida FLAIR) was UCF’s 13-month effort to move from the centralized, state of Florida accounting system to its own accounting system. UCF Financials was launched on July 1, 2003
UCF Financials Upgrade to PeopleSoft 8.9
The University of Central Florida upgraded from Oracle PeopleSoft Financials 8.4 to 8.9 software. The upgrade effectively began in August 2005 and went live on May 1, 2006. During this timeframe, UCF upgraded the following modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, and Asset Management.
UCF Financials Upgrade to PeopleSoft 9.1
The University of Central Florida upgraded from Oracle PeopleSoft Financials 8.9 to 9.1 software. The upgrade went live in November of 2010. During this upgrade, UCF upgraded the following modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Asset Management and eProcurement.
UCF Financials Upgrade to PeopleSoft 9.2
The University of Central Florida upgraded from Oracle PeopleSoft Financials 9.1 to 9.2 software. The upgrade successfully went live on October 3, 2016. With this upgrade, UCF updated all of the existing modules to follow the new Oracle PeopleSoft layout and scheme.
