Account
An Account is a required field that is used to classify the nature of a financial transaction.
UCF Financials uses five account types:
- A – Asset
- L – Liability
- Q – Equity
- R – Revenue
- E – Expense
The Account field contains six digits. The first digit represents the type of account.
* Creation of UCF ChartFields generally adheres to the logic and naming conventions presented in this training course, but limited exceptions do exist.
